KMC Deputy Manager Post Details, Salary

The post of Deputy Manager in Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) is a Group A post of Govt. of West Bengal. Candidates recruited to this post draw salary of level 16 of the Pay Matrix of ROPA 2019. The initial basic salary for this post is Rs. 56,100.

 

KMC Deputy Manager Recruitment Qualification

A Graduate from a recognized University can apply for this post. Further, Working knowledge in Computer Applications is also required.

 

KMC Deputy Manager Recruitment Age

The maximum age to apply for this post is 37 years (as of the year of Notification). Further, candidates belonging to Schedule Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) will enjoy age relaxation of 5 years and candidates belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC – A, OBC – B) will enjoy age relaxation of 3 years. For Persons with Disabilities of 40%, the upper age-limit is 45 years.

 

KMC Deputy Manager Recruitment – NOC from Present Employer

Candidates applying for this post and are now in under Central/State/Semi Government/Local/Statutory Body will have to ensure No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from his/her present Employer reaches the Office of the West Bengal Municipal Service Commission within 7 days for the Personality Test. Otherwise, he/she will not be considered for eligible for the Personality Test.

 

KMC Deputy Manager Recruitment Exam Pattern

Municipal Service Commission of West Bengal conducts this examination in two stages –

  1. Stage I – Written Exam
    1. Paper – I
    2. Paper – II
  1. Stage II – Personality Test

 

Details of KMC Deputy Manager Written Exam

  • Paper – I, & Paper – II, both the paper has 200 marks each.
  • Hence, the total marks in the Written exam is (200 X 2) = 400
  • Each of Paper – I, & Paper – II will have 100 questions, carrying each question 2 marks.
  • The mode of written exam is paper-pen mode and questions asked in this exam are objective type.
  • There will be negative marking of 1 mark each for every incorrect/wrong answer.
  • The questions are set in English.
  • Time allotted for each of the paper is 1.30 Hrs.
  • Qualifying Marks: – 45% for General Candidates, 40% for OBC (A) & OBC (B) Candidates, & 35% for SC, ST, & PH Candidates.
